The Seconds Report - Collegians V Old Brighton
A great effort from the boys on the weekend, leading most of the day only to
fall at the last hurdle and lost by 4 points. On Thursday night we were
having a little trouble putting together a side for the weekend, but after a
number of calls, a few blasts from the past put their hands up. I am really
thankful of these guys because we would have been blown off the park. The
way the boys played the game was fantastic. The wet condition suit us and the
contested ball was was a highlight. We had a little issue lack of a tank
with a few of the boys but to their credit they never gave up. The last 5
weeks the twos have been clearly the best, with 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 very
close lost games. This is our last week and we play the top side Uni Blues,
the way the guys have been going we should give them a run for their money.
