Collegians v Old Scotch (R14)
On a perfect day for football, we started well kicking the first goal and leading by a comfortable 26 points at the first break. Everyone was getting a touch and while Scotch were trying hard, they were simply not good enough to stop us from scoring. We led by 37 points at half time.
In the second half our backline led by our three tall defenders Stone, Inglis and Holst were getting terrific support from Harvey, Tom Bull and Fry who continually ran the ball out of the backline. The midfield was dominate with J. Bull, Tardiff and Strachan all seeing plenty of the ball and the goal kickers were evenly spread amongst ten players. A 65 point victory indicated a dominant display.
